DevOps Cloud Days Intro & Welcome

Liquid Software with AWS

Modernizing Ops with GitOps
With Application Modernization in the forefront of many team’s future plans, how should operations teams think about modern ops practice in a containerized world? Gitops provides an approach worth considering.

Continuously deliver containerized workloads to Amazon EKS using JFrog Platform
In this talk, we will simulate a real world scenario of deploying a containerized workload into test and production AWS accounts and orchestrate using a deployment pipeline in a management account. Along the way, we will cover topics such as static code analysis, image scanning and deploying a helm chart from a management EKS cluster to clusters in Test and Production AWS accounts. We will orchestrate code deployment from source to EKS cluster using JFrog Platform and implement DevSecOps practices using JFrog pipeline suite

Building Modern applications
Modern applications are built with modular architectural patterns, serverless operational models, and automated software delivery processes, and they allow businesses to innovate faster while reducing risk, time to market, and total cost of ownership. Companies are increasingly interested in modernizing applications because they need to become more agile so they can innovate and respond to change faster. This requires a different kind of application than what was common years ago. Applications now need to scale quickly to potentially millions of users, have global availability, manage petabytes if not exabytes of data, and respond in milliseconds. In this talk we will present common modern applications architectures and operational best practices.

Workshop – Modernize your Infrastructure with JFrog and AWS – Waitlist opened
Get hands on with JFrog and AWS as they will be covering the why you would move your DevOps to the cloud. This hands-on lab will give you an overview of JFrog in an AWS environment, with Artifactory and Xray. There will also be a demo of JFrog Pipelines being deployed to an EC2 instance.
Due to large demand, we are opening a waitlist for all workshop registrations after Nov 6th and we will try to accommodate all requests. The workshops are limited to a certain number of participants to allow a hands-on, assisted training experience. You can visit the JFrog Academy for free self-paced training.
